In "Life As It Is", the brazilian bassist Adrian Busic proposes an interesting inversion of perspective: the bass ceases to be merely rhythmic support and assumes the role of narrative protagonist.
The album moves between Jazz Fusion, Instrumental Funk, and nuances of contemporary Rock. In more measured tracks, the bass pulsates with precision, creating immersive atmospheres. In the freer moments, Busic allows himself to improvise freely, revealing refined technique without falling into showiness.
